How To Get Real With Yourself
It's not about fancy things, it's the small things we often overlook.

This week’s newsletter is inspired by Jana's time management post
All week I have been struggling to pin down my words.
I wrote, re-wrote and wrote again.
I felt so many things all at once it was overwhelming.
Finally reaching the weekend I feel the quiet!
Taking in the beautiful sunlight staring at my window, I feel here.
Past 2 weeks have been hectic and consuming due to my day work (additional things going on requiring me to be in a tight routine)
Today's post is about that.
About becoming true to yourself.
Don't fight your reality, work in it
I have less time to write lately. This is the truth. The more I fight it the more I am restless.
Instead I have to make peace with what I have rather than worry about what I don’t have.
Don't aim for too far, aim for today
Yes, I plan on having a one person business (right now it's not a business yet) focused on mindset change, getting in the right mindset for You etc. But the truth today is I need to focus on writing better, thinking better and sharing better.
This is what matters right now, this is what I can do right now, today and every day, little by little.
Don’t keep the joy tied to later, let it meet you today
No matter what, life is happening right now, I am not where I want to be but I am trying my best (almost) to be there. The joy I feel doing this is irreplaceable.
Tomorrow can be more beautiful but that should not stop me from celebrating what I have today.
To Summarize:
Work on getting true to yourself in where you are in your life right now.
Yes you have dreams, I have dreams and those are achievable 100%
The hand holding we need right now:
keep moving,
keep showing up,
keep making the effort no matter how small it seems, it is still a step taken every day right?
only You know what your current reality is,
explain to no one,
do what you can, this is enough for today.
Plan and organize but don’t be hard on yourself when things don’t turn out as planned.
Keep doing what's possible
Keep staying true to yourself
You will be just fine!
I am finding the deep journaling exercise by Beth Kempton absolutely awesome,
even though I haven't written down my responses on Substack, I have told myself, spent time with myself thinking and answering them truly,
And felt better while doing so.
This exercise kept me going in the past many exhausting days I have experienced, these were my 'ME' moments that helped me feel peace.
because that's what we want end of the day right, to feel peace and fulfilled?
Also, a big thank you to Sparkle on Substack,
your life, my life needs some sparkle. Thank you for that Claire!
I may not be 100% active in responding and participating but I am reading every spare minute and smiling (that's because of You, I want you to know that). Thank you for giving me and so many fellow Substackers this community platform which serves as a reminder each time I think it is getting hard, it is not!
I am not aligned between my thoughts, words and actions and that's the cause of my puzzled feeling.
Sparkle is my reminder, bringing me back to being aligned. In a life moving so quick we need this, thank you for that Claire 😊✨
Wish you all a happy weekend.
I hope you find some rest to recharge and do what matters most to You!
PS: doing something brave this week, accountability check in:
