Hope you are doing well. Hope your week was good.
Welcome to issue #2 of Mindset Matters.
As promised I will break down ‘mindset’ for you today.
First I want you to think about what’s most important in your life right now?
Why are you not able to achieve it?
Do you feel it is due to money issues? it can be, but from my own experience I can tell you money is the ‘later’ problem.
The first problem or challenge is how ‘you’ ‘see’ it.
Are you feeling stuck or in waiting mode?
Do you think it will be a long time till you reach what you truly desire?
Do you think it will take years, and ‘one’ day you will live your best life?
What if I told you there is a way to live your best life today?
There is a way to find the ‘peace’ and feeling of ‘fulfillment’ WITHOUT achieving YET what you think you want to achieve, and without waiting for x amount of years.
Yes it is possible to reach your ‘end goals’ right away.
It does NOT cost you money and it does not involve you going through the grind you THINK you HAVE TO go through, to reach your happier life.
You simply have to change your mind to start living your best life today.
I mean literally change your MIND.
While its easy to mention but it takes a lot of conscious effort, thinking and continuous work to reach that level of mind.
It starts by first thinking about it, considering it, re thinking over and over till you know it is possible.
It starts by CHANGING your MINDSET.
What is MINDSET?
Before I tell you my take on mindset, lets consider some definitions I found from google search:
Definition 1:
As per verywellmind ; Our mindset is our set of beliefs that decide how we
comprehend things around us and within us.
SET OF BELIEFS do play a major role in our mindset, but they are ONLY ONE element of our mindset- that’s what I feel.
lets see another one.
Definition 2:
As per reach out:
‘’A mindset is a series of self-perceptions or beliefs people hold
about themselves. These determine behavior, outlook and mental
attitude’’
This is also a good way to define mindset, but again the focus here is only on deep rooted BELIEFS that shape our mindset.
My definition of mindset:
our mindset is how we CHOOSE to look at things, based on our current belief system.
Look at the image below:
Pause and think about it for a minute.
You are currently here (at your current mindset).
You want to reach your dream life (ideal life)
But there is a string of blocks and barrier you need to pass to reach where you want.
Is is achievable?
Is it within your reach?
Is is within your hand to make this change for you?
The answer is YES.
It is possible.
It is doable.
It can start to change for you today..right away. IF you THINK about it.
Your current mindset is a result of your beliefs or inherent beliefs.
These beliefs dictate your life.
You think, reason, action, process.. based on these beliefs.
You choose to see things based on your current beliefs.
These beliefs are deeply connected to your background, your social pressures, certain events and experiences that changed your life forever or haven’t yet.
Once you are able to master your current mindset, you can break the barrier holding you back from reaching your ideal life.
You can be in the ‘right mindset’ for You and live your best life, starting today.
Look at the image once again and think.
